Hanging out with my loyal friend Martin MacDonald from Bass Pro was great! He introduced me to the famous fishing legends like Ray Scott and Jimmy Houston--what a privilege that was. What wonderful people make up the sportfishing industry.

A new exhibitor I found especially intriguing and impressive was "Girls Fish Too" -- a new Canadian company started by Dawn Jewell, who is hard at work bringing high quality rods, reels and apparel into your favorite consumer stores. If you don't see this outstanding line of gear for girls and kids, ASK your dealer for it--i mean really, a reel that lights up when you're bringing in a fish! THAT'S COOL!
